Another WWE departure has recently come to light. According to a report from PWInsider.com, former NXT U.K. Assistant General Manager Sid Scala has been released by WWE. The news of his release surfaced within the past week.
Sid Scala, who also worked as a coach and producer behind-the-scenes for the company, last competed in 2023. He had been a part of WWE’s NXT U.K. brand from December 2018 until September 2022 when the brand was discontinued.
In addition to Scala’s departure, WWE saw other key figures leave the company this week. This includes WWE Director of Community Relations Sue Aitchison, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations Dan Ventrelle, and WWEβs Senior Vice President of Athlete ID & Development Trent Wilfinger.
Itβs always sad to see familiar faces leave the WWE family, but change is a part of life in the world of professional wrestling. We wish Sid Scala and the others who have departed all the best in their future endeavors. Whether they continue in the wrestling industry or pursue other avenues, their contributions to WWE will not be forgotten.
