EC3 among names pulled from ROH Final Battle PPV due to pre-travel COVID testing

There have been some changes made to the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view event thanks to COVID-19.

Ring of Honor announced on Friday that Bandido, EC3, Flamita, and Kenny King have been pulled from the show due to pre-travel COVID-19 testing.

ROH’s statement noted, “With the health and safety of Ring of Honor’s talent, staff and fans the company’s No. 1 priority during the pandemic, ROH enacted stringent COVID-19 protocols in conjunction with the Maryland State Athletic Commission. All four performers are doing well and resting at home. ROH wishes them a speedy recovery and looks forward to their return to action in 2021. All other ROH performers, production staff and general staff are safely in the ROH bubble after passing their second round of tests.”

ROH will be announcing changes to the card in the coming days ahead of the event that takes place on December 18th. Here’s the card that was announced before this unexpected news was made:

Brody King vs. Rush (champion)

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships Match:
Shane Taylor & Soldiers of Savagery vs. Bandido, Rey Horus, and Flamita (champions)

ROH World Television Championship Match:
Winner of the Four Corner Survival Match vs. Dragon Lee (champion)

ROH World Tag Team Championships Match:
PCO and Mark Briscoe vs. Jonathan Gresham and Jay Lethal (champions)

ROH Pure Championship Match:
Flip Gordon vs. Jonathan Gresham (champion)
