Cody Rhodes suffers slight rotator cuff tear, isn’t expected to miss any time
Cody Rhodes suffered a slight left rotator cuff tear during a tag team match taped last Thursday that aired on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
According to F4WOnline, Cody isn’t expected to miss much, if any, at all. The injury occurred when he took a suplex from Cezar Bononi during the tag team match that featured he and new Nightmare Family Member Lee Johnson.
Cody’s injury was revealed at the end of a Coach’s Corner segment featuring Arn Anderson that was posted to AEW’s Twitter. The only comment Cody has made since the injury went public was a twitter post with an injured emoji.
Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet are still scheduled in match against NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal and Jade Cargill on the live March 3rd episode of Dynamite.
#CoachsCorner Arn (@TheArnShow) breaks down @BigShottyLee Johnson’s first win, and are we going see the next generation of the Anderson family soon?
