[ad_1]
Next week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown just got a whole lot more exciting with a big announcement. In a thrilling match on the latest show, AJ Styles emerged victorious over LA Knight to earn the title of the new number one contender for the WWE Universal Championship. This sets the stage for Styles to be the first challenger to take on “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes for the title at the highly anticipated WWE Backlash: France premium live event.
Fans can look forward to the official contract signing between Rhodes and Styles on next week’s SmackDown, as they prepare to face off for the gold at WWE Backlash: France. But that’s not all – next week’s episode will also kick off the 2024 WWE Draft, with night one taking place on SmackDown. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, CM Punk is set to make an appearance as well.
So mark your calendars for April 26 and join us live for the action-packed WWE Friday Night SmackDown. It’s going to be a night to remember!
