CM Punk reportedly in talks with AEW about an in-ring return

According to several media outlets, former WWE Champion CM Punk is said to be in talks with AEW for an in-ring return.

Fightful and F4WOnline are reporting that Punk and a company official “have had ongoing conversations about an in-ring return.”  It is also being said that “higher ups in WWE believe that Punk is headed to AEW” and that other companies have had interest, but have not heard of any offers.
