The eagerly anticipated reality series on The CW featuring NWA owner and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan now has a set premiere date locked in. According to Deadline, “Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland” is scheduled to debut on Tuesday, May 14. However, fans should take note that the series will be exclusively available on The CW app and The CW’s website, skipping traditional television broadcast.

The show promises to offer viewers an intimate glimpse into Corgan’s diverse life, encompassing his involvement in professional wrestling, his musical pursuits, and capturing significant moments like his wedding to Chloe Mendel in September 2023. With eight episodes lined up, audiences can expect a deep dive into the dynamic world of this iconic figure. Deadline describes the series as follows:

Directed by Volk-Weis and Ian Roumain, the series pulls back the curtain on how the legendary frontman of the alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins juggles various roles in his life. When he’s not creating albums and touring with his band, Corgan works as a wrestling promoter through the National Wrestling Alliance, aiming to restore it to its former glory. Balancing the demanding worlds of music and wrestling, along with being a father of two and planning a wedding to his long-time partner Chloe Mendel, is no easy feat. Can he manage it all? Since acquiring the NWA in 2017, Corgan has played a crucial role in reviving the brand. Alongside his reality show, the NWA has secured a deal to feature its programming on The CW app. A standout skit featuring Father James Mitchell during last October’s NWA Samhain event influenced the decision to air on the app rather than the traditional broadcast channel.
