Arez asks to leave MLW, but MLW granted request months ago, backstage report shares details

It was a strange morning for a luchadore named Arez and his colleague MLW. Arez had taken to social media to publicly request his release from the promotion after being unused for several months. In a surprising turn of events, the official MLW account responded, revealing that both Arez and Aramis had actually been granted their release back in May. The twist? AAA, the organization that had co-signed their original contracts, had failed to inform them of their release.
MLW notified AAA in May that both Arez and Aramis were released from the MLW contracts as AAA is a co-signee on both contracts.
AAA confirmed they would relay this to talent at that time. Evidently they did not.
We wish Aramis and Arez the best with the future.

An update on the story from Fightful Select shed more light on the situation. According to their report, MLW had not included Arez or Aramis on internal rosters for nearly six months. Sources revealed that Konnan, a key figure, had acknowledged the impending release on the AAA side but communication about it had gone silent thereafter.
Despite the confusion and miscommunication, Arez and Aramis now find themselves as free agents in the cutthroat world of professional wrestling. While the circumstances may have been unexpected, MLW extended their well wishes to both men.
