Andrade offers thanks to Zelina Vega after her WWE departure

Nearly a week after Zelina Vega departed from WWE, Andrade took to social media to publicly thank his former manager.

The two stars found success in NXT as well as on the main roster with Andrade positioned as a singles star while Vega served as his manager.

Andrade took to Instagram and shared a photo from a WWE tour of South America a few years back. Vega saw the post and responded with the following:

“Thank you for everything @AndradeCienWWE [fist emoji] being with you will forever be one of the highlights of my career. Both professionally and personally. You’re one of the best in the world and it was an honor. Te quiero mucho hermano [folded hands emoji] #tranquilo,” she wrote.

WWE split up Vega and Andrade a few months ago before WWE sent Vega to SmackDown while keeping Andrade on Raw during this year’s Draft.

Vega was released on November 13 for reasons related to WWE’s new third party edict. Sports Illustrated reported that it was due to her breaching her contract.
