Andrade confirms reports of his release request from WWE, doesn’t know what future holds
WWE Superstar Andrade has confirmed that reports of his request for a release from WWE are true.
On March 12, we reported that Andrade had requested his release from WWE at the March 8 taping of WWE Raw. It was reportedly not granted by the company.
Andrade went onto his Twitter page to confirm the story, stating:
The rumors are true and I don’t know what the future holds but I want to make my dreams come true. [T]hank you for giving me so much support these last days[.]
The message was also written in Spanish right after with a folded hands emoji.
Andrade has also removed all mentions of WWE from his profile, including changing his Twitter handle from @AndradeCienWWE to @AndradeElIdolo.
Andrade last appeared on television for WWE in October 2020 on night two of the WWE Draft on Raw. Andrade lost to Angel Garza that night before being attacked by The Fiend. Andrade went undrafted in the WWE Draft and has not made an appearance since.
