WWE NXT star undergoes surgery
Arturo Ruas revealed on Twitter that he’s undergone successful surgery.
Ruas, real name Adrian Jaoude, took to Twitter on Saturday to share the news but didn’t say the exact injury that needed surgery to fix it. The WWE NXT star shared a photo with his left arm/shoulder bandaged and with a scar on it. He wrote the following:
“The surgery was successful now it’s time to heal and comeback stronger. For a warrior there will only be victory with a good fight and glory with honor. #beastmode #healing #champion #wwe #wwenxt #meteamao #technique.”
Ruas suffered the injury back on November 18th during a match against Kushida on NXT TV. He lost the match when Kushida got the win with a pin.
This was supposed to be Ruas’ NXT return after being part of Raw Underground, which has since been dropped. He was picked by Raw with the final pick in the WWE Draft.
Following the contest, WWE’s injury report noted that he injured his right biceps.
