WWE has pulled the plug on a top SmackDown storyline

It looks like WWE has pulled the plug on one of its top SmackDown storylines.

WWE announced that Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio have agreed that tonight will be the final chapter in their feud.

As noted earlier, there were plans for the Mysterio/Murphy/Rollins storyline to continue after the Survivor Series. Also, as noted earlier, Seth Rollins is expected to take time off soon so he could be with fiance Becky Lynch, who is expected to give birth sometime within the next month.

Perhaps, this is a way to write off Rollins until he returns to resume the feud or somehow they will continue the Aalyah/Dominik/Murphy storyline without Rey and Seth.

WWE has announced that Sami Zayn will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Apollo Crews.
