Two matches added to WWE TLC pay-per-view
WWE has just announced that the Women’s Tag Team Titles will be defended at the TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view.
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler will defend against Asuka and Lana.
On the Raw after Survivor Series, Asuka and Lana defeated Jax and Baszler in a non-title match when Lana pinned Baszler with a roll-up. Lana scored a victory over Baszler this past Monday thanks to help from Asuka.
Also, since the Raw before Survivor Series, Jax has been unable to continue her streak of putting Lana through a table. PWrestling.com reported several weeks ago that the payoff to this storyline will be Lana putting Jax through a table so it’s possible that a stipulation could be added to the match at TLC. A Tables Match would be the most likely stipulation.
Aside from the Women’s Tag Title Match, the only other match officially announced for the show as of now is Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Championship against AJ Styles.
WWE TLC airs Sunday, December 20 on the WWE Network.
UPDATE: Randy Orton vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt has been added to the pay-per-view.
