In a recent post-WrestleMania XL scrum, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque had a chat with the media and here are some of the highlights:
Triple H started off by expressing how this WrestleMania was the biggest one yet in terms of all metrics. He pointed out the impressive figures in terms of the gate, social media engagement, sponsorship, and merchandise sales.
He humbly admitted that he doesn’t like the idea of this era being solely referred to as the ‘Triple H era’ and emphasized that it was a collective effort from the whole team. He gave credit to WWE President Nick Khan for the monumental changes that have taken place. Triple H praised Khan, saying, “Nick Khan, I can’t even begin to describe the change that he’s made here. If you wanted to boil it all down to a speartip, he should be mentioned in the top of that. It’s his era too.”
Another individual who received recognition from Triple H was Lee Fitting, commending Fitting’s innovative approach to production. Triple H mentioned, “Lee Fitting. From a production standpoint, from what we’re doing, the look, the feel. You see changes happening every week on TV, and there is going to be more of them.”
Triple H also shared his admiration for Roman Reigns’ incredible run, stating that the ‘Tribal Chief’ deserves to be in the conversation for the title of ‘greatest of all time.’
When speaking about Cody Rhodes, Triple H reminisced about feeling the presence of Cody’s late father, Dusty Rhodes, during the recent event. He also shared a heartwarming story about the Dusty Rhodes watch that was gifted to Cody.
During the scrum, it was mentioned that Stephanie McMahon kicked off night two with Triple H’s iconic ‘Are You Ready’ catchphrase. Triple H light-heartedly commented on Stephanie’s appearance and expressed his happiness that she was back home.
Overall, the scrum provided insights into the inner workings of WWE and the collaborative efforts of the team members, highlighting the dedication and passion that drives the organization forward. It was evident that Triple H values the contributions of his colleagues and appreciates the teamwork that leads to the success of WWE. The future looks promising with the dynamic team of individuals like Nick Khan and Lee Fitting leading the charge towards new horizons for the wrestling entertainment industry.
