The TNA event known as Hard To Kill 2024 was a massive hit for the company. Dave Meltzer, a respected voice in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, shared that the event drew in 19,700 television pay-per-view buys, a significant increase from the previous pay-per-view event, IMPACT Bound For Glory 2023, which only had 6,900 buys.
When factoring in streaming purchases, the total number of buys for TNA Hard To Kill reached around 60,000, putting it on the same level as TNA Genesis 2006, a historic event that featured the first encounter between Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle. This event marked a return to the TNA Wrestling branding and also brought Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler in WWE, into the TNA fold.
