The Miz cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase tonight on WWE Raw?
This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw kicked off with The Miz and John Morrison hosting a Miz TV segment with The New Day as their guest. Originally, WWE announced that it would be “A Moment of Bliss” with Drew McIntyre as their guest but those plans changed in the last 24 hours.
Randy Orton walked out and ripped on Morrison for leaving and wrestling for the minor leagues. He also said that he never wanted The Miz back when he was thrown out of the locker room several years ago. Orton’s issue with them was that he felt that he was being set up for Miz to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase at the end of the show. Miz said that what he and Morrison actually wanted was The New Day’s Raw Tag Team Titles.
The originally scheduled guests, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, walked out to the ring. They had a few words to say and then McIntyre ran out and a brawl broke out with the heels standing tall.
Later on Raw, it will be McIntyre and The New Day against Orton, Miz and Morrison. The cash-in tease is meant to keep people from changing the channel since last week’s third hour was the least-watched third hour in several years.
