Sting sets new Pro Wrestling Tees sales record following AEW debut

Sting made an impact in creating a buzz as well as selling t-shirts by appearing on AEW Dynamite.

The WWE Hall of Famer made his promotional debut on Wednesday’s episode on TNT that had a special theme of “Winter is Coming.” It happened following a tag team match that saw Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin take on Ricky Starks and Will Hobbs.

AEW later confirmed that he signed a multi-year deal with the promotion. Dave Meltzer first reported that AEW wanted to bring him in ahead of Christmas to sell merchandise and he certainly did.

Pro Wrestling Tees owner Ryan Barkan noted on Instagram that the new t-shirt for AEW’s latest signee set a new record for the most t-shirts sold in 24 hours. The shirt is priced at $24.99 while a hat will cost you $26.99 and a zip hoodie is $49.99.

Sting will speak on next week’s Dynamite about his arrival.
