Sasha Banks doesn’t understand why WWE hasn’t booked another Evolution PPV
Sasha Banks recently did an interview with Digital Spy to talk about a wide range of topics.
During it, she was asked about the all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, and the desire from fans about seeing another show.
The first event took place in October 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in Uniondale, New York. Stephanie McMahon confirmed in late 2019 that another show like this is something that they’re pushing to get done.
Perhaps the COVID-19 pandemic nixed plans for the show this year, but some could argue that it’s doable due to WWE holding other PPV events in the ThunderDome.
“[Evolution] is something I absolutely want to happen again,” Sasha said. “It’s just something that I think was so incredible for the women and for the fans that I don’t understand why there hasn’t been a second one yet.
“But it definitely can happen in the future and whenever it does happen I think it will be better than the first.”
Banks also talked about her rivalry with Bayley, desire to headline WrestleMania, and more. Check out the full interview here.
