Rossy Ogawa has launched a new promotion called Dream Star Fighting Marigold, also known as Marigold for short. The announcement was made during a press conference on Monday morning, signaling a new chapter in Ogawa’s career after being let go from STARDOM earlier this year amidst controversy.
Despite the accusations against him, Ogawa has denied any wrongdoing and has teamed up with former STARDOM talent Giulia to bring Marigold to life. Their first show, Marigold Fields Forever, is set to take place on May 20 at Korakuen Hall, streaming live on Wrestle Universe with Japanese and English commentary.
The main event of the inaugural show will feature Giulia teaming up with an undisclosed partner to take on Sareee and another mystery opponent. The excitement surrounding Marigold is palpable, with fans eager to see what this new promotion has in store.
During the press conference, Ogawa announced the first seven talents to join the Marigold roster. Alongside Giulia, familiar names such as Utami Hayashishita, MIRAI, Nanae Takahashi, Mai Sakurai, Victoria Yuzuki (formerly known as Yuzuki from STARDOM), and Nao Ishikawa were revealed as part of the initial lineup.
As the event came to a close, more talent was added to the roster with Natsumi Sumikawa, Miku Aono, Misa Matsui, CHIAKI, Chika Goto, and KOUKI (formerly of Actwres girl’Z) all announcing their participation in Marigold.
The diverse talent pool assembled for Marigold has generated buzz within the wrestling community, with fans eager to see these stars showcase their skills in a new setting. The combination of experienced veterans and up-and-coming talent promises a fresh and exciting take on professional wrestling.
With the stage set for Marigold’s debut show, anticipation continues to build as fans eagerly await the future of this promising new promotion. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements as Marigold looks to make a splash in the world of professional wrestling.
