Roman Reigns confronted by Drew McIntyre on WWE SmackDown

This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.

Reigns was confronted by former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre from Monday Night Raw. McIntyre will face Randy Orton for the WWE Championship this Monday night. If he wins then he would face Reigns at Survivor Series in a champion vs. champion match.

Reigns assured Reigns that he will win the match on Monday and he will go on to face Reigns at the pay-per-view. McIntyre noted that he eliminated Reigns from the Royal Rumble this year. McIntyre also said he beat Paul Heyman’s “b**ch” Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and then Reigns left the fans high and dry.

Reigns said that nobody watches Raw anymore because people are watching SmackDown and McIntyre promised to show Reigns who McIntyre is at Survivor Series.

Jey Uso then ran out and accused McIntyre of being disrespectful so he wanted a match for later in the show.

This segment may not have been in the original plans that were laid out last night. As noted earlier, the show was completely rewritten this morning and nothing was announced on WWE.com until a couple of hours ago.

After the commercial break, Reigns yelled at Uso for calling the shots and making a match for himself.
