Over 2M Tune in for WWE Raw After WrestleMania XL, Big Boost in Key Demo

[ad_1]

The April 8th episode of WWE Raw on the USA network had a great turnout with 2,362,000 viewers tuning in. This marked a significant 32% increase from the previous week’s viewership numbers, showing that the show is gaining popularity. In the key 18-49 demographic, Raw earned a rating of 0.83, a 41% jump from the previous week’s rating of 0.59.

Despite these impressive numbers, Raw was overshadowed by the NCAA Men’s College Basketball final, which drew over 14 million viewers and had a 3.88 rating in the key demo. It goes to show the popularity of college basketball in comparison to WWE programming.

The show itself was filled with excitement, featuring The Rock confronting new WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Cody Rhodes. Fans were also treated to surprises like John Cena making an appearance in the ring, some NXT superstars making their debut, and a new #1 contender being determined for heavyweight champion Damian Priest. It was a night full of unexpected twists and turns that kept viewers on the edge of their seats.

As always, Pwrestling Newss will be providing weekly updates on viewership numbers for all of WWE’s programming. So, make sure to stay tuned for the latest updates on your favorite wrestling shows.
