WWE Hall of Famer Don Muraco stated on his podcast that WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk is currently suffering from dementia and is in an assisted living facility in his hometown of Amarillo, Texas.
Following several reports from various media outlets, Funk’s official Twitter account, which is currently ran by a representative, issued a statement regarding earlier reports that Funk regarding Funk suffering from Dementia.
The representative noted that Funk is receiving residential care for his multiple health issues, which does affect is mind and body.
Tommy Dreamer also noted on Twitter that he spoke with Funk on the phone, and that he (Funk) is not in bad health.
WWE, along with a few wrestlers took to Twitter to pay tribute to Funk.
Yes, Mr. Funk is currently receiving residential care for his multiple health issues, which do affect his mind as well as the rest of his body. As you can imagine, some days are better than others. He & his family appreciate all of your kind words!
