Number contender set for Finn Balor’s WWE NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil
During this week’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, Kyle O’Reilly took on Pete Dunne. The winner of the match would be declared the number 1 contender for Finn Balor’s NXT Championship.
Before the match got started, Killian Dain ran out to attack The Undisputed Era members at ringside. Breezango returned to join in on the brawl as the match got started.
It was an excellent match that had a pay-per-view like feel. O’Reilly won so he will be the next person to challenge for the NXT Championship and the match will take place on January 6 at New Year’s Evil.
