Latest on Eva Marie’s WWE status

It was reported back in October that Eva Marie had signed a new deal with WWE to make a return to the company. 

Marie underwent medical testing in order to enter the ThunderDome for TV events that week. WWE reached a deal with Marie during the week of September 20th.

Marie later confirmed that she had signed with WWE with this post on Twitter:

When news broke about the return, there weren’t many details on the plans for her in the company including whether she was going to wrestle or simply appear as a personality on TV.

The latest update on her status with WWE comes from Pwinsider.com, which reported on Monday that she is indeed currently to a WWE deal.

Per the report, WWE does have her internally listed as a member on the roster. However, she has not been officially assigned to a brand. It was added that she has been seen several times at the WWE Performance Center since September.

Marie was likely there to train as she hasn’t worked a match since July 10, 2016 at a live event against Becky Lynch.
