Kevin Green has passed away
According to media reports, legendary NFL linebacker and defensive end Kevin Green has passed away at the age of 58.
Green played in the NFL for 15 years for the Rams, Steelers, Panthers, and 49ers before transitioning into being a coach for the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets.
Long-time wrestling fans may remember Green worked on some WCW shows. He teamed with Steve McMichael until McMichael turned on him to join the Four Horsemen. He also teamed with Ric Flair and Roddy Piper at WCW Slamboree 1997 against Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean “Syxx” Waltman.
He wrestled one more time in 1998 with Goldberg as his tag team partner and he was considered to be a friend to the wrestling business and he remained friends with Ric Flair.
