Exciting news for the former NJPW superstar, Tama Tonga!
Tonga, whose real name is Aliopate Aloiso Leone, is set to make his way to WWE as reported by Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer. Tonga enjoyed a successful 14-year career in NJPW, where he achieved various championship titles such as the IWGP tag champion seven times, IWGP NEVER Openweight Champion four times, and IWGP NEVER Openweight Six-Man tag champion four times. He was also a founding member of the renowned Bullet Club faction, which produced top talents in both WWE and AEW including Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, The Good Brothers, Jay White, and many others. His last match in NJPW took place at the recent New Beginning in Sapporo event.
