Game Changer Wrestling applied for “The Collective” trademark days after WWE’s filing

Game Changer Wrestling has decided to also file for “The Collective” trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

WWE filed to get the trademark rights back on December 15th. GCW filed for it on December 21st.

It’s interesting to note that the filing was made through Michael E. Dockins, who has been successful in the past by helping AEW and independent wrestlers to secure their trademarks. Here’s the description:

“G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Organizing conventions for professional wrestling and sports entertainment; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network.”

GCW has held a series of The Collective events throughout the past few years. In their trademark filing, the promotion noted that its first use was in September 2018.
