According to Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer, the show attracted 683,000 viewers and achieved a rating of 0.23 in the highly sought-after 18-49 demographic. This was a slight decrease from the previous week’s episode on April 17th, which drew 762,000 viewers and earned a rating of 0.26 in the same key demographic. The April 24th show was the aftermath of the electrifying Dynast pay-per-view that took place on Sunday.
During this episode of Dynamite, fans witnessed Jon Moxley going head-to-head with Powerhouse Hobbs, a thrilling Sudden Death Gauntlet match to determine the next contender for the AEW International Championship, a showdown between Mercedes Moné and the newly crowned TBS Champion, Willow, and The Elite teaming up with Jack Perry to give AEW President, Tony Khan, a painful beatdown.
