Dynamite Finishes 56th, 2nd Highest Rated Non-News Show Of Night

Ratings for the Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released Thursday. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 56th overall for the night and that is a good thing.

Dynamite drew 717,000 viewers down from last week’s 781,000 viewers. They finished 12th overall last week. Dynamite was live this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. It was the go-home show before AEW Full Gear on Saturday.

NXT drew 610,000 viewers way down from last week’s 876,000 viewers. It finished 68th overall, last week they finished 21st. The show featured the Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Velveteen Dream.

The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was way down to 1.327 million viewers. It was at 1.657 million total viewers last week.

Based on the ratings, CNN crushed the night with 14 of the top 15 spots. Only Fox News came in at 14. No shocker the election coverage dominated the evening as the US election is still undecided. Only Real Housewives Of The OC(#55), AEW(#56), and Guys Grocery Games(#57) were the only non- news programs in the Top 60 shows on cable. Things should get back to normal by next week as long as the election is decided by the weekend.
