Drew McIntyre continues to tease possible matches with Tyson Fury and Wade Barrett

Drew McIntyre made an appearance on the most recent episode of Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, which is now available on WWE Network.

WWE’s YouTube channel released a clip of McIntyre doing word association as Austin listed several names such as Wade Barrett and Tyson Fury.

Throughout this year, McIntyre and Fury have exchanged words to build up a match that was nixed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was reported earlier this year that WWE wanted to have the two stars wrestle for the WWE Title in the main event of a UK pay-per-view this year as WWE talked to both men about the idea.

Barrett has stated that he’s open to the idea of wrestling another match if it would be against McIntyre. Currently, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion is working as a commentator for the NXT brand.

Regarding Barrett, McIntyre stated, “hope he comes back for a match with me” and then said about Fury, “the reason we’re finally gonna get the biggest UK pay-per-view event since SummerSlam 1992 against me.”

McIntyre will defend the WWE Title against AJ Styles in a TLC Match at Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view event.
