Dates reportedly set for WWE’s Money in the Bank and Backlash events

The dates for the next two WWE pay-per-view events have reportedly been revealed.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE Money in the Bank will take place on Sunday, May 16. WWE Backlash will follow on Sunday, June 20. Both shows will take place inside the WWE ThunderDome before a virtual crowd inside the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, where the WWE will begin its new residency on April 12.

Last year’s Money in the Bank event took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Asuka and Otis won the briefcases in a cinematic match that saw both the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank matches happen simultaneously.

WWE Backlash featured what was advertised as “the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever” with Edge and Randy Orton. Orton was victorious in the match. Edge tore his biceps during the filming.

WrestleMania 37 will take place over two nights on April 10 and 11 this weekend. We will have live coverage of each night.
