Daniel Bryan’s return and contract signing announced for tonight’s WWE SmackDown

WWE waited until the day of the SmackDown show to announce more things for the episode.

This morning, WWE confirmed that Daniel Bryan will make his return when he battles Jey Uso in a singles match.

This comes after Bryan had been on hiatus from WWE television after Uso turned heel to align with Universal Champion Roman Reigns by attacking the fan favorite star on an episode of SmackDown a few weeks ago. Bryan recently showed off his new hairstyle in a video.

Also, for the second straight week, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will be on SmackDown, but this time it will be in order to do a contract signing with Reigns ahead of their champion vs. champion bout at Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view event.

This will be the go-home edition of SmackDown for Survivor Series. We’ll pass along any newsworthy moments. Here is the updated card:
