Damian Priest has decided to continue his journey with WWE for the foreseeable future. After winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Drew McIntyre by using his Money In The Bank briefcase at WrestleMania XL, The Judgment Day member appeared as the champion for the first time on the Raw After WrestleMania show on Monday night.
After the exciting episode of the weekly three-hour WWE on USA Network red brand television program following WrestleMania XL, Priest had a chat with Cathy Kelley in a backstage interview as a digital exclusive. In the conversation, the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion shared that he has signed a new contract with WWE. He also mentioned that this year has been amazing for him with a new contract, a new title, a new theme song, and his voice featured in it.
Priest is all set to defend his title for the first time against “Main Event” Jey Uso, who emerged victorious in a title eliminator bout at Raw After WrestleMania XL. In his interview with Kelley, Priest expressed his excitement, saying, “This has been already a great year for me. New contract, new title, new theme song, voiced by yours truly. The Judgment Day’s on fire.”
