Cody Rhodes Applies to Trademark “The Renaissance Era”

Cody Rhodes is particularly fond of the name, “The Renaissance Era,” to describe the current era of WWE. In a recent interview with Fox News, “The American Nightmare” shared his thoughts on the phrase, comparing it favorably to the beloved WWE Attitude Era.

His affinity for the term is evident as he took the step to file for a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on April 3, 2024.

The trademark filing details that “THE RENAISSANCE ERA” is intended to cover a range of merchandise categories including hats, pants, shirts, socks, and more. Additionally, it encompasses entertainment services related to wrestling contests, exhibits, live appearances, and online content.

In the upcoming WrestleMania event on April 6 and 7, 2024, Cody Rhodes aims to solidify his position in the ongoing WWE Renaissance Era by challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in the main event on night two. He will also headline night one by teaming up with Seth “Freakin’” Rollins against The Rock and Roman Reigns of The Bloodline.
