Backstage News On The Plans For AAA’s TripleMania 28

While AAA announced the lineup for TripleMania 28 last month, no date for the event has been announced. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason for this is due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are also some health conditions in Mexico City right now. There will be no fans allowed into arenas for at least the next several weeks.

AAA officials don’t want to run the event without fans in attendance. With that being said, there is now talk of running the event without any fans as the pandemic is expected to continue for months to come and they don’t want to have 2020 pass without TripleMania.
