AEW Officially Announces Signing Of Top Flight, Darius & Daunte Martin
After impressing fans with their performance against The Young Bucks on AEW Dynamite this past week, the Martin brothers of the tag team Top Flight have officially signed with the All Elite Wrestling. The high-flying duo lost against Matt and Nick Jackson after Dante took a BTE trigger for the pinfall.
Top Flight first appeared on AEW Dark, where they lost to Evil Uno and Stu Grayson on October 21st. They later got their first win against Baron Black and Frankie Thomas on the show’s November 10th edition.
Darius is 21 years old and has wrestled under the name Air Wolf. Daunte is 19 years old and has used the name Angel Dorado.
AEW tweeted out the following Monday afternoon
“Welcome to the team…#TopFlight Darius & Dante Martin are #AllElite”.
Top Flight started teaming together in 2016 for independents in their native Minnesota area. They have been mostly inactive in 2020, only wrestling for a handful of notable indy organizations, including Ireland’s Over the Top in February (as The Flip Bros), the Illinois-based AAW, Game Changer Wrestling, and Black Label Pro.
Darius and Dante were trained by former WWE superstars Ken Anderson and Molly Holly.
