AEW Rampage coming to Chicago, CM Punk reference made
During last night’s AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen, Tony Schiavone announced AEW is headed to the United Center in Chicago on August 20 for AEW Rampage: First Dance.
Following the announcement loud “CM Punk” chants from the fans.
Darby Allin was then interviewed and said that he has been around a lot of people who say they are the greatest ever in wrestling, and the only place to prove that is AEW, “even if you think you’re the best in the world.”
AEW recently filed to trademark “The First Dance.” In addition, CM Punk has been rumored to be on his way to AEW.
Tickets for the live August 20 Rampage in Chicago go on sale this coming Monday, August 2 at 10:00 am CT.
