AEW officially signs former WWE NXT Superstar Jake Atlas –

Jake Atlas is All Elite.

AEW CEO and President Tony Khan took to Twitter Tuesday to announce that he has signed former WWE NXT talent Jake Atlas.

Atlas’ first match was at the AEW Dark: Elevation TV tapings back on Tuesday, December 28, in which he was victorious over Serpentico. After the match ended, Tony Khan came out to the stage area and shook Atlas’ hand. The match aired Monday on AEW’s YouTube Channel.

Atlas announced last September that he was stepping away from professional wrestling due to mental health issues.

Atlas was first seen on a national level when he appeared on a celebrity episode of the CBS series Undercover Boss with Stephanie McMahon. He was then later signed to WWE to be part of NXT. He was released from his contract on August 6, 2021.
