AEW announces Tag Team Title Match at Road Rager will be a Street Fight
AEW has announced that Tony Khan has declared that this week’s AEW World Tag Team Championship Match on AEW Dynamite: Road Rager will now be a Street Fight.
The Young Bucks will defend the titles against Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo.
Kingston and Penta earned the title opportunity after they defeated The Young Bucks in a non-title match on last Wednesday’s Dynamite. The match ended after Brandon Cutler inadvertently sprayed Matt Jackson in the face with cold spray, which then allowed Penta and Kingston to get the pinfall victory.
The Road Rager special will air live from the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida, beginning at 8:00 pm on TNT.
Below is the current card for Wednesday’s show:
– South Beach Strap Match: QT Marshall vs. Cody Rhodes
– Andrade El Idolo vs. Matt Sydal
– AEW World Tag Team Title Street Fight Match: The Young Bucks to defend against Eddie Kingston and Penta
– Jake Hager, Santana, and Ortiz with Konnan vs. Wardlow and FTR (w/Tully Blanchard)
– Kris Statlander and Orange Cassidy vs. The Bunny and The Blade
MJF to announce stipulations for Chris Jericho to have a match with MJF. If Jericho loses, he then has to leave MJF alone forever.
